The costs for publication for the Pioneer Press and the Shoreview Press was approximately the <br />same as the Bulletin (between $5 and $6 per column inch), while the cost for the Star Tribune <br />and The Life is between $11 and $12 per column inch. Based on cost and flexibility of <br />submission for publications, the Pioneer Press is the recommended option through the end of the <br />year. If Council desires, Council could select the Pioneer Press for the remainder of 2019 and <br />further discuss the paper of record for 2020 at a work session. <br />Budget Impacts <br />If the Council moves forward with the Pioneer Press, there are no anticipated budget impacts as <br />the cost of publication is relatively the same as the Bulletin. <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Resolution 2019-033 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
