CONSENT ITEM — 7B <br />'It <br />EN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: September 23, 2019 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />FROM: Gayle Bauman, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Convey City interest in 1999 Easement Machine to White Bear Lake <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A $1,000 N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Approve the conveyance of the City's interest in the 1999 Easement Machine to the City of White <br />Bear Lake in consideration of $1,000. <br />Discussion <br />The City owns an easement machine through an agreement with the City of White Bear Lake. This <br />machine was purchased in 1999 and is housed at White Bear Lake. City Council approved the <br />purchase of a new easement machine, owned independently of White Bear Lake, at the 01/28/19 <br />council meeting. Staff had received an estimated trade-in value of $2,000 for the old machine and <br />the City of White Bear Lake has indicated that they will provide the City with 1/2 of the trade-in <br />value. <br />Budget Impact <br />The funds will be used to offset the cost of the new asset. <br />Attachments <br />A.
