City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy'_` Effective February 29, 2016 <br />ri` 1 ILN HILLS Amended December- ' n October 28 2019 <br />EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br />The City of Arden Hills offers its employees and their dependents a CO IDENTIAL <br />Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are available to help employees and their <br />dependents with: <br />• Relationship issues <br />• Separation and divorce concerns <br />• Alcohol or chemical abuse problems <br />• Work concerns <br />• Loss and grief <br />• Financial crisis, problems with creditors <br />• Depression and anxiety <br />• Parent/child difficulties <br />• Many other life concerns <br />Arden Hills employees are urged to refer to the EAP brochures for location, program and <br />service information. <br />The Citv also has an Organizational Assistance Program (OAP) for personnel or work <br />related matters including but not limited to: professional tension or conflict,12erformance <br />related matters and a variety of other work-related challenges or difficulties If work related <br />matters or professional interactions have become difficult, the city has asked for a Sand <br />Creek OAP Consultant to assist both staff and management related to these types of issues. <br />Organization Emolovee/Management SuiDoort may include items. such as. the following: <br />• Change management <br />• Dispute resolution <br />• Facilitated group work sessions <br />• Leadership development <br />• Organizational/Department climate assessment <br />• Profile/Assessment delivery <br />• Professional development training <br />NI <br />
