City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy ' Effective February 29, 2016 <br />At'Q�v Hu -i -s Amended October 28, 2019 <br />RIGHT TO KNOW <br />Any employee routinely exposed to hazardous substances or harmful physical agents as <br />defined in the Minnesota Employee Right to Know Act of 1983 (Laws 1983, Ch. 316, <br />Minn. Stat. 182.65-182.675) shall be trained before being assigned or reassigned work <br />exposing the employee to such substances or agents and shall be given training annually <br />thereafter. Training shall include an explanation of how and where information about <br />hazards are stored in the workplace, how the hazards are labeled, and where to obtain <br />specific information. The City Administrator, or their designee, shall provide for such <br />training and for compliance with the "Minnesota Employee Right to Know Act of 1983", <br />including the establishment of specific policies to insure compliance with the State law and <br />regulations. An employee acting in good faith has the right to refuse to work under <br />conditions which the employee reasonably believes present an imminent danger of death <br />or serious physical harm to the employee. <br />16 <br />
