[DRAFT-..-, <br />-ARQEN_HILLS <br />Approved: November 25, 2019 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 12, 2019 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Fran Holmes, Dave McClung and <br />Steve Scott <br />Absent: Councilmember Brenda Holden (excused) <br />Also present: City Administrator Dave Perrault; Interim Public Works Director/City <br />Engineer Todd Blomstrom; Finance Director Gayle Bauman: and Community <br />Development Manager/City Planner Mike Mrosla; <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Councilmember Holmes requested Items 6F and 6H be pulled from the Consent Agenda for <br />discussion as Items 7A and 7B. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as amended. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br />Lynn Diaz, 1143 Ingerson Road, commented on the growing need for affordable housing in the <br />school district. She reported there were 200 students that were homeless last year and there were <br />many other homeless people. She commended on affordable housing and the comprehensive <br />plan. <br />Mayor Grant commented the City's Comprehensive Plan was currently under review by the <br />Metropolitan Council and meets all required guidelines. He thanked Ms. Diaz for coming forward <br />
