Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />In past years, the City has invited representatives from MnDOT and Ramsey County to present <br />on current and planned State road improvement projects. Staff is requesting direction from the <br />City Council on whether these representatives should be invited to attend the State of the City <br />this year. <br /> <br />Items to consider this year include: <br /> <br />• Having city staff booths at the event. <br />• Recognizing a business partner via a proclamation at the event. <br />• Asking the host to make a few remarks about their business—growth, plans, etc. prior to <br />the start of the event. <br />• Decide whether you would like tours available for attendees following the presentation. <br />This would require early registration/rsvps and badges. <br />• Decide on whether the Mayor would emcee the event or if City Council members will <br />take turns speaking. <br /> <br />Some of these items can be discussed at a later work session. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />None <br />
