<br />City of Arden Hills <br />City Council Meeting for February 24, 2020 <br />P:\Planning\Planning Cases\2019\19-021 - Brausen - APUD <br />Page 4 of 4 <br /> <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on December 24, <br />2019. The City provided the petitioner with written extension for an additional 60-day review <br />period on February 17, 2020. The reason for the extension was because the next available City <br />Council meeting was outside of the 60 day window. The extended review period ends on April <br />17, 2020. With consent of the applicant, the City may extend the review period beyond the initial <br />120 days. <br /> <br />Notice and Public Comments <br /> <br />A public hearing notice was published in the Pioneer Press on January 25, 2020. Staff has not <br />received any letters, e-mails, or telephone calls from property owners or residents in regards to this <br />planning case. <br /> <br />Under Section 1355.06 subd.4, an application for an amendment shall be administered in the same <br />manner as required for a new application. Provided, however, that when such changes are deemed <br />to be insignificant by the Zoning Administrator, the requirements of a public hearing may be <br />waived. <br /> <br />The material changes are deemed insignificant as the pre-cast material has been previously <br />reviewed by council and is located on the least publicly visible sections of the proposed building. <br />The south side of the building faces a wooded landscaped area belonging to Bethel University. <br />The east side of the building faces neighboring businesses.
