DATE: March 23, 2020 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Approve Promotion of Senior Engineering Tech to Assistant City Engineer <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Estimated Amount: Funding Source: <br />$100,640 <br />Not including overtime <br />$107,190 Multiple Funds <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Council should consider approving the promotion of Senior Engineering Tech, David <br />Swearingen, to Assistant City Engineer at Grade 17 Step 2 with step increases annually <br />thereafter, other benefits provided by the City will remain unchanged. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />This was recommended by the Personnel Committee and brought forward to the City Council at <br />their March 16, 2020 work session (the memo from that work session is attached). The Council <br />directed staff to bring this item forward at their next regular meeting.
