The agreement also limits future <br />increases in pumping rates that would interfere with the capacity for the downstream sanitary sewer <br />system. <br />The City Lift Station No. 14 runs at a lower frequency, with run times for approximately 2 to 4 minutes <br />per cycle, with a total of about 15 cycles per day. Coordination of the City and State lift station run <br />times should not result in significant challenges. <br />Financial Impact <br />Under the terms of the recommended Joint Powers Agreement, the Minnesota Department of Military <br />Affairs is responsible for cost associated with the improvements necessary to coordinate the operations <br />of the two lift stations.
