Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br />PROJECT TEAM: <br />Jake Strum, P.E., Senior Mechanical Engineer, Minnesota License No. 41841 <br />Travis Willemssen, P.E., Senior Mechanical Engineer, Minnesota License No. 47945 <br />Refer to attached resumes for additional information and relevant project involvement. <br />BASIC SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED <br />The project is broken up into the following 6 tasks - <br />1. Interview staff and conduct an on-site review of building HVAC equipment to <br />determine condition, function and remaining usable life. A summary report will be <br />provided. <br />2. Prepare two reports for equipment replacement. First report will be for a like-for-like <br />replacement with cost estimate. Second report will be for an alternative design to <br />increase energy efficiency and reliability. <br />3. Attend one meeting with the City Staff to review recommendations. Attend one <br />meeting with City Council to also review recommendations. <br />4. Assemble construction documents (drawings and specifications) to be used for <br />bidding and construction. Provide a 60% review set and attend meeting with City <br />Staff to review. <br />5. Assist in bid solicitation including responding to bid questions, attending a pre-bid <br />meeting, issuing addenda and attending bid opening. After bid opening, review <br />proposals, prepare bid tabulation and make a recommendation on the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />6. Conduct construction administration services including attending a contractor kickoff <br />meeting, periodic inspections of work, responses to RFIs, preparation of progress <br />payments, change orders, final punch list, equipment commissioning and contract <br />closeout. <br /> <br />PROPOSED PROJECT TIMELINE <br />Assessment & report: Mid – Late June <br />CD Documents: July – Mid August <br />Bid Solicitation: September <br />Construction Start: October <br />COMPENSATION <br />Our compensation for Basic Services on this project will be invoiced on a lump sum <br />basis, as follows (refer to table below for task breakout). <br />o Like-For-Like Equipment Replacement: $46,200 <br />o Add-on Alternative Design Replacement (Task 4, Alt 2): $13,160 <br /> Total with alternate design $59,360 <br /> <br />
