<br /> AGENDA ITEM – 1A <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: June 15, 2020 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />FROM: Dawn Skelly, Communications Coordinator <br />SUBJECT: 2020 State of the City Meeting <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $1,000 N/A EDC <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br />Staff is requesting City Council review and provide feedback on the second draft revision of the <br />slide presentation and a corresponding narrative/script for the Mayor’s delivery of the State of the <br />City address. The draft presentation and narrative will be provided prior to the meeting. In addition <br />to placing the presentation video on the city’s website, would the Council like the address to be <br />aired on Channel 16 at various times or a specific time? <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br />At its June 8 Special Work Session the Council expressed concerns regarding the presentation <br />length and level of detail, as well as the format style. It was determined that the Mayor would <br />deliver the address in the Council chambers with slides as visuals. Staff revised the presentation <br />draft and developed a corresponding narrative. The presentation was shortened to approximately <br />10 minutes. <br /> <br />A follow-up conference call with CTV will be held prior to the Council Work Session and details <br />will be provided at the work session. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />N/A <br />
