The <br />crash rate is higher than the critical rate of 0.65, and the severity rate of 0.76 is higher <br />than the Statewide average severity rate of 0.5. A Crash Diagram can be found in <br />Appendix B. <br /> <br /> <br />Table 1 – Existing Crash Rate Calculation <br /> <br />Future Conditions <br /> <br />The County Road E corridor is projected to see an increase in traffic over the coming <br />years with the Bethel University expansion. Two alternatives for intersection modifications <br />include the construction of a traffic signal and the construction of a single-lane roundabout <br />at the intersection of County Road E and Old Snelling Avenue.
