3 <br /> <br />7. Disbursement of Funds: The City will award grant funds on a first-come, first- <br />considered/awarded basis. Once a business is notified, the City will distribute the funds by <br />check within 7-10 business days. <br />8. Termination: The City of Arden Hills retains the right to terminate any agreement under <br />the Emergency Assistance Program if a grant recipient is found to be in violation of any <br />conditions set forth in the grant guidelines or grant agreement. <br />9. Right to Deny: The City of Arden Hills retains the right to deny any application for grant <br />funding for any reason. <br />10. Funding Availability: The Small Business Emergency Assistance Program has a limited <br />amount of general grant funds available. For general grants, awards will be provided on a <br />first-come, first-considered basis until the earlier of the date the fund is exhausted, or the <br />City-declared state of emergency is lifted. <br />11. Indemnification: All grant recipients shall be required to indemnify the City of Arden Hills, <br />and any officers acting on their behalf. <br />12. Minnesota Data Practices Disclaimer: While the City does not intend to proactively <br />display, share or advertise business financial information provided as part of the application <br />and review process, confidentiality of such data cannot be guaranteed and is subject to <br />Minnesota Data Practices Act with regard to public access to data. <br />Application Process <br />Application requirements will involve providing: <br />1. Basic details about the business: business name/type/sector, State Tax ID number. <br />2. Amount of general grant funding being requested. <br />3. Number of employees employed by the business as of March 16, 2020 and the number <br />as of the time of this application. <br />4. Information regarding operations during the COVID-19 pandemic/Stay-at-Home <br />executive order(s), including dates the business was required to be closed due to State of <br />Minnesota orders (actual or est. dates), whether the business is/was subsequently <br />operating under reduced services/capacity restrictions per State of Minnesota. <br />5. Proof of financial need: Examples include revenue/financial statements demonstrating <br />business impacts due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated executive orders. <br />6. Proof of eligible expenses: Examples include proof of payroll expenses, paid/unpaid <br />business invoices, mortgage/rent/utility/statements, property taxes and/or other business- <br />related expenses. <br />7. Narrative descriptions and estimated calculations of the negative impacts on the business <br />due to COVID-19, including the operational effect of closure and subsequent <br />reopening/partial reopening of operations following the COVID-19 executive orders. <br />8. Information on the intended use of the grant funds and which eligible expenses will be <br />addressed with the funds. <br />9. Supporting documentation and application attachments.
