<br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> CONSENT ITEM –6G <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: November 9, 2020 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Mike Mrosla, Community Development Manager/City Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: ESRI Small Local Government Cloud-Based Enterprise Agreement and GIS <br />Migration assistance from WSB & Associates <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $19,896.00 (Annual) $29,100 (Year 1) Technology Fund <br /> $16,800 (Year 2) CARES Act <br /> $16,350 (Year 3) <br /> <br />Council Should Consider the Following <br /> <br />A motion to approve GIS Services agreement with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. <br />(ESRI) on their Small Local Government Cloud-Based Enterprise and GIS Migration assistance <br />from WSB & Associates and to utilize CARES Act funds to pay for year 1 (one) of the ESRI <br />subscription in the amount of $15,000. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At its April 9, 2018 meeting, the City Council approved a three (3) year contract with WSB & <br />Associates for GIS support services for the city. The services included the following tasks: <br /> <br />• Review and assessment of the City’s existing GIS system <br />• Data merge and implementation of DataLink web-based platform <br />• Staff training sessions <br />• Ongoing annual services, including staff augmentation and system maintenance <br />• Data hosting <br /> <br />When the City entered into the contract, the costs for year one were higher because the scope of <br />services would include the review and assessment of the existing GIS system, data migration and <br />the launching of the DataLink platform. The first year (2018) of services were $24,342. Year two <br />and three would include the maintenance and servicing of DataLink, staff training, data hosting,
