All interior and exterior stairways shall be <br />provided with a means to illuminate the stairs, including the landings and treads. <br />Interior stairs shall be provided with and artificial light source located in the <br />immediate vicinity of each landing of the stairway. <br /> <br />80. Four or more stair risers require a guard and hand rail. <br /> <br />81. Pin footings are allowed for decks only and must be anchored using 63” long <br />pins. <br /> <br />82. Helical piers are allowed for decks up to and including four season porches <br />provided that the torque specifications are provided at time of framing inspection. <br /> <br />83. 507.2.2 Alternate Deck / Porch ledger connections deck ledger connections <br />not conforming to Table R507.2 shall be designed in accordance with accepted <br />engineering practice.
