SRF Consulting Group City of Arden Hills | Mounds View High School Trail Improvements 6 <br />STEVEN PRUSAK, PE | DESIGN LEAD <br />Steve has 16 years of experience as a member of design and construction teams for a variety of municipal, trail, <br />and highway projects. His duties have included quantity calculation and project cost estimation, intersection design <br />and details, alignments, profiles, utility design and coordination, corridor and terrain modeling, and construction <br />management. Steve has designed and delivered projects in both AutoCAD Civil 3d and MicroStation platforms. <br />Highlighted Project Experience <br />Three Rivers Park District, Crystal Lake Regional Trail, Robbinsdale, Minnesota. A 2.5-mile bituminous trail was added through a challeng- <br />ing urban environment to enhance multimodal transportation opportunities in a developing corridor and provide connectivity to existing trail <br />networks in Minneapolis. Steve served as the civil design lead and construction manager. <br />Bottineau Community Works Infrastructure Advanced Planning, Twin Cities, Minnesota. Steve worked to advance the planning and <br />design of desired pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure enhancements. His involvement included researching the feasibility of shared mobility <br />features, incorporate shared mobility features, such as bike sharing, to allow for increased use of new bicycle facilities, and support alternative <br />approaches for transit users to make first and last mile connections that will result in better access and use of the METRO Blue Line Extension. <br />Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Ridgway Parkway Improvements, Minneapolis, Minnesota. A one-mile concrete walk was <br />replaced with bituminous trail, a loop parking area was reconstructed, and a tiered scenic overlook was added to complete a “missing link” <br />in the Minneapolis Parks trail network. Civil Design Lead. <br />20+ Significant Utility <br />Coordination Projects <br />34 Miles of Trail Design & <br />Planning <br />NICOLE ZAPPETILLO | WETLANDS <br />Nicole has 11 years of environmental science <br />experience including numerous wetland delin- <br />eations, wetland permitting, agency coordina- <br />tion, and environmental documentation for pub- <br />lic and private projects. Her work at SRF includes <br />completing wetland delineations and reports, <br />Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act and U.S. Army Corps of Engi- <br />neers Section 404 permit applications, agency coordination, and <br />federal and state environmental documents. <br />Project Experience <br />Trunk Highway 5 Regional Trail, Victoria and Chanhassen, Min- <br />nesota. Completed a field wetland delineation, delineation reports, <br />and agency coordination for a proposed segment of regional multi- <br />use trail, including bituminous and boardwalk trail segments. The <br />trail will be located within Minnesota (MN) Department of Transpor- <br />tation right of way and the University of Minnesota Landscape Arbo- <br />retum. In addition, the trail will likely impact a Minnesota Department <br />of Resources Public Water Wetland. <br />France Avenue Trail from West 84th Street to Old Shakopee Road, <br />Bloomington, Minnesota. Completed a field wetland delineation, <br />delineation reports and agency coordination, and wetland permitting <br />is in progress for a segment of a local multi-use trail, including bitumi- <br />nous and boardwalk trail segments and a stream crossing. The project <br />includes a long segment of boardwalk to avoid/minimize wetland and <br />floodplain impacts to a stream and the surrounding wetland complex. <br />Northwest Greenway Trail Phases I-IV, Plymouth, Minnesota. <br />Completed field wetland delineations, delineation reports, agency <br />coordination, and wetland permitting for several segments of a <br />regional multi-use trail, including bituminous and boardwalk trail <br />segments and a stream crossing. Most of the work was in the vicinity <br />of a large wetland complex. <br />DAVID FILIPIAK, PE | WATER RESOURCES <br /> David leads SRF’s Water Resources Group, pro- <br />viding review and oversight with 36 years of <br />experience in engineering and water resources <br />planning. His expertise includes hydrologic and <br />hydraulic modeling of both urban and rural <br />watersheds, preliminary and final design for <br />major storm sewer projects, regional and site-specific Best Manage- <br />ment Practice design, green infrastructure studies and design, com- <br />plex permitting, and major wetland restoration projects. He excels at <br />developing innovative stormwater treatment solutions for both rural <br />and urban projects. Additionally, he has served on numerous techni- <br />cal advisory committees, including the Minnehaha Creek Hydrology <br />and Hydraulics Study, several Local Road Research Board (LRRB) <br />studies on a variety of topics, Modeling, and a MPCA study on Water <br />Quality Sampling Protocols. <br />Project Experience <br />1NE Watershed Planning and Preliminary Design Project, Minne- <br />apolis, Minnesota.
