<br />1NE Watershed in Northeast Minneapolis. Developed that detailed
<br />XP-SWMM and P8 modeling, GIS analysis, and concept and prelim-
<br />inary design of several types of BMPS, including surface detention
<br />basins, underground detention/retention systems, raingardens, and
<br />tree trenches. David served as the project advisor for the study.
<br />Lake McCarrons Water Quality Study/BMP Design, Roseville,
<br />Minnesota. Capitol Regions Watershed District retained SRF to
<br />study the Villa Wetland subwatershed to identify locations for poten-
<br />tial BMPS to significantly reduce phosphorus loading to the wetland.
<br />DAN MCNIEL | PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
<br />Dan has five years of experience in public
<br />engagement and planning, including youth
<br />engagement, transportation planning and
<br />parks and recreation planning. He has signifi-
<br />cant experience facilitating community work-
<br />shops, leading youth engagement activities,
<br />planning for connected and automated vehicles and designing long-
<br />range public participation processes. Dan is committed to develop-
<br />ing meaningful, measurable and adaptable community engagement
<br />and is passionate about incorporating underrepresented perspec-
<br />tives into planning processes.
<br />Project Experience
<br />Dakota County CR 9 (Dodd Boulevard) and 179th Street Corridor
<br />Study, Minnesota. Dakota County and the City of Lakeville have
<br />partnered to coordinate planning efforts and identify improvements
<br />for two roadway segments in the City of Lakeville – County Road 9
<br />(Dodd Boulevard) and 179th Street. Dan is serving as a key player in
<br />the public involvement coordination with Dakota County and the City
<br />of Lakeville. His main responsibilities include developing communi-
<br />cation materials, gathering public input through public opens houses,
<br />community surveys and online engagement as well as coordinating
<br />in-person meetings with the public and adjacent property owners.
<br />MnDOT Highway 252/I-94 Redesign, Brooklyn Center and Brook-
<br />lyn Park, Minnesota. Dan has supported development of engage-
<br />ment materials and staffed public engagement open house events
<br />and pop-up community events for this multi-jurisdictional project.
<br />BRENT CLARK | TRAFFIC
<br /> A member of SRF’s Traffic Studies Group,
<br />Brent’s work is focused mainly on traffic impact
<br />studies and corridor studies. He uses a number
<br />of traffic analysis software programs including
<br />Synchro/SimTraffic, TRAFFIX, PC-Travel, and
<br />IHSM-HSM Predictive Method. Through his
<br />work, he has gained valuable experience in traffic operations, traffic
<br />forecasting, and intersection safety.
<br />Additionally, Brent has preliminary and final roadway design experi-
<br />ence, having provided AutoCAD design support to SRF’s Municipal
<br />Group. He also previously interned for a consulting engineering/
<br />surveying firm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he provided
<br />AutoCAD design support and performed construction inspection
<br />and observation, construction staking, and topographic surveying.

<br />KEN HELVEY | RIGHT OF WAY
<br />Ken leads SRF’s Real Estate Services Group and
<br />manages the acquisition, relocation, and
<br />appraisal processes for infrastructure, utility,
<br />and development projects. Since 1993, he has
<br />provided public and private sector clients with
<br />project management, acquisition, compilation
<br />of information to prepare work files, coordination of appraisals,
<br />negotiations with land owners to acquire right of way and settle
<br />damages, completion of relocation services, recording of pertinent
<br />documents, and closing of files and preparation of closing
<br />documents.

<br />CASEY BLACK | STRUCTURAL
<br /> Casey has 15 years of structural engineering
<br />experience and has led bridge design projects
<br />including rehabilitations, replacements, and
<br />new construction in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and
<br />North Dakota. He has managed projects using
<br />federal, state, and local funding. Casey’s expe-
<br />rience includes concrete slabs, prestressed concrete beams, steel
<br />girders, and prefabricated steel trusses. He has also served as a
<br />construction engineer on bridge replacement and rehabilitation
<br />projects, which enables him to foresee potential field issues during
<br />the design process and design easily constructible structures. Casey
<br />works closely with clients and permitting agencies to ensure project
<br />parameters are understood and met.
