Transportation Engineers Trip Generation Manual. For properties with multiple driveways, engineering judgement will be used to estimate an appropriate directional distribution of generated trips. The following properties will be subjects of this traffic analysis: - Lexington Station (multiple driveways) - Big O Tires - Arby’s - Raising Cane’s (multiple driveways) - Target (multiple driveways) For purpose of determining traffic signal system assessments on the west side of Lexington Avenue, two scenarios will be developed: - Scenario #1 – Driveway connection between the Big O Tires property and the Lexington Station property is coordinated between the property owners and the City of Arden Hills and the property owners construct the driveway connection - Scenario #2 – No driveway connection is made between the above- mentioned properties and the Lexington Station development is the sole property accessing the west leg of the new signalized intersection. Task 2.0 Feasibility Report 2.1 Prepare draft feasibility report containing the above listed information. 2.2 Revise report one time based on comments received from the City of Arden Hills and the City of Shoreview. Submit final signed report. Assumptions Our work scope, staff hour and fee are based on the following assumptions: 1. Effort to prepare exhibits for the report will be kept to a minimum. A layout for the project has been developed for use by the County. Simple exhibits will be prepared for other work elements, such as watermain and sanitary sewer work, if needed. 2. This scope does not include meetings. It is assumed that review comments will be discussed via phone or email. 3. This scope does not include time to attend City Council meetings. Meeting attendance and preparation of presentations can be provided as additional services. 4. The cities will provide a copy of the appropriate site plan for Lexington Station Phase 3 for our use. Project Schedule Alliant will work with the City of Shoreview, City of Arden Hills, and their partners to schedule tasks and milestones as needed to meet the goals of the cites. Upon acceptance of this proposal, a draft report can be provided within three calendar weeks.
