Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Update <br />In 2020, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office responded to 30,470 calls <br />for service in the seven contract cities of Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, <br />Little Canada, North Oaks, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, and White Bear <br />Township, which is a decrease of 16.25 percent in calls from 2019. <br />There were 3,924 calls in Arden Hills in 2020, which is 34 percent less <br />than the number of calls in 2019. See calls by classification in the pie <br />chart below. <br />Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Releases 2020 Statistics <br /> Sheriff’s Office Patrol Calls for Service Summary Report – 2020 Arden Hills Calls for Service (CFS) are issues responded to by deputies, initiated by citizens via 9-1-1 or deputy initiation while on patrol. CFS are not 'crimes' until so determined after investigation of the incident. Calls for Service have five descriptive classifications. <br />• Crimes Against Persons Calls involve bodily harm, the threat of bodily harm, or other actions committed <br />against the will of an individual. <br />• Crimes Against Property Calls involve when property belonging to another is taken without that <br />person's consent. <br />• Traffic Related Calls are those that involve the operation of motor vehicles. <br />• Quality of Life Calls involve situations and acts of physical disorder, damage to property or disruption of <br />community life. <br />• Other/Miscellaneous Calls are those requests that don't meet the other four descriptions.
