New EyeOnWater Customer Tool <br />Official Census Data <br />Be a Battery Hero! <br />City Council Benchmarks <br />Road Construction Updates <br />2021 PMP Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project <br />The 2021 PMP Street & Utility <br />Improvement project is on schedule <br />for completion this fall. All of the <br />underground utility work has been <br />completed, and all of the concrete <br />curb has been installed throughout the <br />neighborhood. The first layer of new <br />asphalt pavement has been installed <br />on all the streets now that Jerrold <br />Avenue and Prior Avenue were paved <br />in September. The Contractor, C&L <br />Excavating, will be focusing their <br />efforts on turf restoration and clean up <br />work prior to paving the final layer of <br />asphalt. All work is scheduled to be <br />completed by the end of October. <br />Snelling Avenue North <br />Improvements Coming in 2022 <br />Snelling Avenue North from County <br />Road E to Trunk Highway 51 <br />improvements include reclamation <br />and resurfacing of Snelling Avenue <br />North, Cummings Lane, and a short <br />portion of Bussard Court immediately <br />adjacent to Snelling Avenue. Utility <br />repairs and improvements will also <br />occur in the project area. A trail is also <br />being considered for non-motorized <br />users along this corridor. The project <br />is currently in the design phase with <br />engineering consultant Bolton & <br />Menk. A public informational meeting <br />will be held at City Hall in October, <br />notices will be sent to the surrounding <br />residents. <br />Arden Oaks Street Improvements <br />Coming in 2022 <br />The Arden Oaks neighborhood is <br />scheduled for improvements in <br />2022 that would include pavement <br />rehabilitation, curb repair, <br />and stormwater infrastructure <br />improvements as needed. Considering <br />the existing condition, deterioration <br />factors, and geotechnical <br />investigation, a full depth pavement <br />reclamation is proposed for the <br />streets within the project area. <br />Lexington Avenue Reconstruct <br />(County Project) Coming in 2022 <br />Lexington Avenue will be <br />reconstructed from County Road <br />E to I-694 in the cities of Arden <br />Hills and Shoreview in 2022. The <br />reconstruction will include replacing <br />aging and deteriorating pavement, <br />replacing traffic signals, and <br />improving pedestrian and bicycle <br />facilities. A center median will <br />also be added to increase safety <br />for road users. Improvements <br />will include water main, sanitary <br />sewer, storm sewer, water treatment <br />and traffic signals in the project <br />area.
