Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Approve Plans & Specifications Ramsey County Lexington Avenue Reconstruct <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $1,010,000 $1,010,000 PIR, State Bond, LRIP Grant, <br />Assessments, Water Fund <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Resolution 2021-060 Approving Plans and Specifications for the Ramsey County <br />Lexington Avenue Reconstruct Project. <br /> <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />On November 23, 2020, the City Council entered into a Cooperative and Maintenance <br />Agreement for the Lexington Avenue Improvements with Ramsey County. The project consists <br />of reconstructing Lexington Avenue between County Road E and Interstate Highway 694, <br />including improvements to streets, sidewalks, traffic signals, water main, storm sewer and other <br />infrastructure located within the project corridor. <br />The project plans and specifications have been prepared by Ramsey County and the project is <br />ready for solicitation of construction bids. Adoption of Resolution 2021-060 will approve the <br />plans and specifications for the project. Bids would be received on November 2021, awarding <br />the construction contract in December 2021 and construction starting in April 2022. The final
