Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 6J <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: December 13, 2021 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Julie Hanson, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2022 Tobacco License Renewals <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $ $ $ <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Approving the 2022 tobacco license renewals as listed below. <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The following six (6) businesses have requested renewal of their City tobacco licenses for 2022: <br /> <br />• Holiday (Brausen) <br />• Arden Hills Tobacco <br />• Cub Foods <br />• Cub Discount Liquor <br />• Holiday (Hwy 96) <br />• Walgreens <br /> <br />Each of the above establishments has successfully passed a background check conducted by the <br />Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. In addition, the final issuance and release of the above tobacco <br />licenses is contingent upon satisfactory fire inspections by the Fire Marshal, but no issues are <br />expected. <br /> <br />
