• Park and Recreation System Usage Respondents were asked about their use of the park and recreation system: The Arden Hills park system is composed of neigh- borhood parks and trails. More frequent visitors tended to be those who have lived in the community for 5 years or less, those who have lived in the community for 5 to 10 years, those who intended to leave the community within 10 years, City Hall Staff customers, City Hall visitors, households with children, and 18-44 year olds. Less frequent visitors were more often those who have lived in the community for over 20 years, those with no plans to leave the community, those with no City Hall Staff contact, non-visitors of City Hall, empty-nesters, households with seniors, and over 55 year olds. The Arden Hills park and recreation system usership rate was among the highest in the Metropolitan Area. Park and Recreation System Rating Respondents were asked for a general rating of the park and recreation system: How would you rate park and recreational facil- ities in Arden Hills -- excellent, good, only fair, • or poor? Eighty-four percent rated the facilities as "excellent" or"good:" 41
