Parks and Recreation Planning and Development <br /> 1. Manages the long-term park and recreation planning and development. <br /> 2. Identifies alternative and innovative uses of parks and recreation programs, <br /> maximizes uses through intergovernmental and private cooperative ventures. <br /> 3. Meets the needs of citizens in the present and the future through planning, <br /> communication and use of citizen involvement. <br /> 4. Supervises and assists Recreation Program Supervisor in meeting mid-year needs, <br /> programming and identification of future issues. <br /> 5. Manages the Park Fund capital projects. <br /> 6. Supervises the reforestation program and administers the diseased tree control <br /> program. <br /> 7. Manage all park maintenance projects and staff. <br /> • <br />
