f <br /> DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT <br /> • <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> OCTOBER 13, 1992 <br /> The regular meeting of the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Commission was called to order <br /> by Chairman Nethercut at 6:00 p.m., in the Main Floor Conference Room, Ramsey County Parks <br /> and Recreation Department, 2015 North Van Dyke Street,Maplewood,Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Gary Botzek, Bernard Edmonds, Linda Ford, William Frank,Janey Gohl, Robert <br /> Nethercut and Mark Nolan <br /> Staff Present: Greg Mack, Larry Holmberg and Cheryl Myran <br /> Others Present: Dan Colberg, North St. Paul Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> • Chairman Nethercut welcomed Ms. Gohl to the Commission. <br /> Approval of Agenda <br /> Chairman Nethercut asked for a motion to approve the agenda. Mr. Mack requested that discus- <br /> sion on property for sale adjacent to Snail Lake Marsh be added to the agenda. Mr. Frank moved, <br /> seconded by Ms. Ford, that the agenda be approved as mailed with an amendment to include <br /> discussion on the property for sale adjacent to Snail Lake Marsh after item#6. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Chairman Nethercut asked for a motion to approve the minutes of September 8, 1992. Mr. <br /> Botzek moved, seconded by Mr. Edmonds,that the minutes of September 8, 1992, be approved <br /> as mailed. Motion carried. <br /> Funding Options for the Regional Recreation Open Space System <br /> Mr. Mack gave an update on the discussions between the Metropolitan Council and the <br /> Metropolitan Parks and Open Space Commission regarding the future funding of regional parks. <br /> The Council has requested operations and maintenance funding at$3.5 million for FY 1994 and <br /> $5 million for FY 1995. <br /> ,ow ivll. tvin%.l� aalu lvll.
