-AIZEN�HILLS <br /> MINUTES <br /> PARKS, TRAILS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2002, 7:00 P.M. <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Straumann called the February 26, 2002 meeting of the Parks, Trails and Recreation <br /> Committee to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Rich Straumann, Jim Crassweller, Lou Speggen, Lorin Hatch, Roberta <br /> Thompson, Bill Henry, Patrick Krenn, and Steve Zilmer. <br /> OTHERS PRESENT: Tom Moore, Parks and Recreation Director; Michelle Olson, Parks and <br /> Recreation Program Supervisor; Gregg Larson, City Council Liaison; and Bonita Sullivan, <br /> • Recording Secretary. <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> The Agenda was approved by consensus. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> None <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION UPDATES <br /> A. Tom Moore—Parks Update <br /> Mr. Moore provided an update to the Committee. He referenced a packet of information <br /> provided for their review stating that included information regarding the fee schedule for the <br /> City, the Rental Policy for City Hall, the Investment Policy, a list of important dates and the <br /> Recreation Budget information. He stated that they would like to begin distributing the <br /> newsletter and agendas via email. He explained that Julie has verified the email addresses and <br /> that she would contact the members via email with any information that involves the PTRC. He <br /> stated that the meeting agenda would also be available on the City website. He explained that the <br /> intent is to go paperless with the agenda packet. He referred the Committee to the website <br /> . stating that it has turned into a great tool. He stated that a draft of the Comprehensive Plan is <br /> available for review noting that the City plans to use the website as a vehicle to get information <br /> out to the Community. <br />
