EN HILLS <br /> MINUTES <br /> PARKS, TRAILS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2002, 7:00 P.M. <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Straumann called the May 21, 2002 meeting of the Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee <br /> to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Rich Straumann, Jim Crassweller, Bill Henry, Don Messerly, <br /> Roberta Thompson, and Steve Zilmer. <br /> OTHERS PRESENT: ; Steve Weismann from Ingraham and Associates (to present the final <br /> Park Comp Plan), Tom Moore, Director of Operations and Maintenance and Julie Bateman, <br /> Recording Secretary. <br /> • MEMBERS ABSENT: Cindy Garretson, Patrick Krenn, Lou Speggen, Michelle Olson, <br /> Recreation Program Supervisor, and Councilmember Gregg Larson. <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> The Agenda was approved by consensus. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The April 23, 2002 Minutes were approved as presented. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION UPDATES <br /> Tom Moore thanked everyone for participating in the flower garden planting. <br /> All City parks have received weed and feed. <br /> Buckthorn removal within the City has been implemented. The residents cut and stack the brush <br /> and Operations and Maintenance pick it up and turn it into chips for the trails. <br /> • All warming houses have received an indoor coat of paint. <br />
