2. Level 2 and Level 3 Parks—Concept Building Prototype Designs We propose to provide prototype concept designs for Level 2 and Level 3 Parks of the building types as follows: A. Small picnic shelter without toilets. B. Medium picnic shelter with toilets. C. A combination picnic shelter and warming house with toilets. We propose to provide the following concept design work for the Level 2 & 3 Parks: - Building/site plans of the areas surrounding the buildings. - Exterior elevations showing materials - Building image/perspective sketch. 3. Prototype Park Entry Sign/Identity Element We propose to provide prototype concept designs for a main park entry sign and identity piece. We will provide a plan and elevations of the design showing materials and graphics. The final deliverables will include the drawings as listed above, a design narrative and an estimate of construction costs for the buildings in a booklet format. The design studies will be done in a hand drawn format to scale. We will have ongoing meetings with you, city staff and committees during the process for your review and input. At the completion of this design effort, we will make a final presentation of the concept designs to the Parks Commission. C. Compensation and Schedule: We propose that we provide architectural services on an hourly basis up to a maximum fee. Hagen, Christensen & MCILWain Architects currently employees the following personnel at the following billable rates: Position Staff Number Billable Rate Registered Architects(Principals) 3 $95 per hour Intern Architects 3 $75 per hour Architectural Draftsperson 1 $75 per hour CAD Draftsperson =/z $50 per hour Administrative =/2 $40 per hour Level 1 Concept Designs: $19,000.00 Schedule TBD Level 2 & Level 3 Prototype Designs $7,000.00 Prototype Sign/Identity Element $3,000.00 Total $29,000.00 Anticipate September finish Additional Services are provided at our established hourly rates at your request. Reimbursable expenses such as mileage, prints, copies, long distance calls, faxes, etc. are not marked up and will be billed at 1.0 times costs.
