-SI�EN HILLS <br /> MINUTES <br /> PARKS, TRAILS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY,JUNE 11, 2002, 7:00 P.M. <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Straumann called the June 11, 2002 meeting of the Parks, Trails and Recreation <br /> Committee to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Rich Straumann, Jim Crassweller, Cindy Garretson, Bill Henry, <br /> Don Messerly, Roberta Thompson, and Steve Zilmer. <br /> OTHERS PRESENT: Tom Moore, Operations and Maintenance Director; and Bonita Sullivan, <br /> Recording Secretary. <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: Patrick Krenn, Lou Speggen, Michelle Olson, Recreation Program <br /> Supervisor and Gregg Larson, City Council Liaison. <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> The Agenda was approved by consensus. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> NONE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION UPDATES <br /> A. Tom Moore—Park Update/Recreation Update <br /> Tom Moore stated that the Committee for the 50th is seeking additional volunteers and asked <br /> everyone to volunteer for at least an hour. He reviewed the activities and areas where they need <br /> volunteers with the Committee. He suggested having an Arden Hills PTRC booth, similar to last <br /> year and explained the process to the Committee. He stated that it would be up to the Committee <br /> to decide if they would like to have their own booth. <br />
