Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Little Johanna Lake and Pike Lake Stormwater BMP Retrofit Analysis <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $0 $16,600 Surface Water Mgmt Fund, <br /> City of New Brighton <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Little Johanna Lake and Pike Lake Stormwater BMP Retrofit Analysis. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The proposed stormwater study is to analyze the subwatersheds of Little Johanna Lake and Pike <br />Lake for potential targeted locations of specific water quality best management practices (BMP). <br />The analysis will serve to assist the City of Arden Hills in implementing targeted and prioritized <br />practices to help meet waste load allocations (WLA) for these lakes, which is a required by the <br />MS4 Permit. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The proposed scope of work will develop guidance to watershed management staff in <br />implementing targeted, measurable and prioritized water quality BMPs within the watershed’s <br />developed areas in order to meet MS4 requirements. This study will also serve as the planning <br />tool needed to apply for future grant funding. <br /> <br /> <br />
