Minutes of Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes, page four <br /> January 29, 1985 <br /> sample survey, designed similar to the New Brighton example, to the next Committee <br /> meeting, and to research cost of doing the survey. Motion was made by Otto, <br /> seconded by Mulcahy, that Committee recommend to Council that this survey be done <br /> by the Parks Committee, with a maximum cost of $500. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Parkway Subcommittee Report <br /> Miller presented his preilminary parkway system feasibility report at January <br /> 10 meeting of this committee; had found that very little coulp be done on the sug- <br /> gested parkway roads since they are all county or state roads. Committee is <br /> meeting again January 31 , Thursday, at which time Miller will again present his <br /> report, and the Committee will hopefully formulate some recommendations for <br /> Council . <br /> Crepeau Park Report <br /> Plesserly reported his subcommittee had met and toured the park; would like to <br /> proceed with the clearing of some trees (mostly sumac) in the open or prairie <br /> area; will meet again before the next Park Board meeting and will bring sketch <br /> of the park's plan to that meeting. Qold was made by Anderson, seconded by <br /> Sand, that Messerly be given go-ahead to remove these trees as he sees fit. <br /> Motion carried unanimously.
