Surveyed and marked park boundaries . <br /> 2 . Created pathway from Benton Way south to the prairie <br /> area of the park . This pathway was developed so it <br /> does not interfere with the houses on idaldon Place . <br /> 3 . Continuous mowing of existing pathways and trails <br /> throughout the park . <br /> 4 . Removed several small elms , box elder , and aspen trees <br /> from the prairie area . <br /> • 5 . The City Council approved change and name to Crepeau <br /> Nature Center and !;ild Life Sanctuary . The Council <br /> also approved expenditures up to $ 1 , 500 for 1984 . <br /> 6 . Met with Ron Bowen , President of Prairie Restoration . <br /> Mr . Bowen has sent written proposals for development <br /> of the park . There has been no obligation or <br /> expenditures on our part for this consultation . <br /> 7 . Ilet with Arden Hills Consulting Engineer , Don <br /> Christoffersen and Rice Creek Watershed District ' s <br /> Engineer Steve Miller . We got verbal approval from <br /> Steve Miller for the construction of this dam . <br /> 8 . Began clearing of underbrush in the area east of houses <br /> on Dunlap Street for the first of wildflower plantings . <br /> 9 . Worked with Nancy Hansen re the formation of a volunteer <br /> group to work in the nature center . <br /> 10 . Submitted article to Sue Schroeder for the September <br /> "Town Crier" . <br /> rm <br />
