Minutes of Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting May 8, 1984 <br /> Page two <br /> • Ingerson - This park has had the most problems with vandalism <br /> during the past summer . Some possible ways of re- <br /> ducing the incidents of vandalism were considered , such <br /> as lights and an Improved roadway for police car to <br /> drive through on the lake side . <br /> Sampson - This park is small but has interesting mature plantings . <br /> The neighborhood children are getting too old for the <br /> playground equipment which was designed for tot lot <br /> activlti'es . <br /> Hazelnut - This park has the Arden Hills trail running along the <br /> west border, connecting it to Sampson Park and the <br /> Lake Johanna Beach . It will receive a hard court for <br /> ball practice and a single tennis court . The ball field , <br /> hockey/skating, sliding possibilities , recently installed <br /> playground equipment make this park 's usage very broad . <br /> Charles Perry - Parking during softball team activities continues <br /> to be a problem .
