4
COMMUNITY - The community of Arden Hills is very fortunate to have a playground
• program such as this. I think that the cost of 55:00 was appropriate and a
worthwhile investment by the parents. I received many encouraging comments from
parents concerning the Special Events and the Adventure Trips. Our program was
a well organized service to families in the community. Their children had a
chance to experience lots of fun, excitement and meet new friends. It also gave the children something to look forward to.
4) Prior to the staff orientation I compiled a craft list for both age
groups for the leaders to choose from.
5) My experience in teaching allowed me to recommend new ideas.
The most successful crafts were play dough, plaster parts, and copper craft.
The following is a list of craft supply expenses along with the other summer
playground program expenses.
Hauser's Super Valu 61 .86
St. Paul Book 75.79
Shoreview OK Hardware 4.85
Snyder Drug 15. 18
Menards 21 .07
Target 34.00
Cub Foods 6.06
Kaplan School Supply 63.30
Triarco 300.57
Total 582.68
PERSONAL EVALUATION - It is my opinion that this summer was a successful one.
I have enjoyed my work very much because it challenged me in different areas.
1 feel my background as a teacher gave me confidence to do much of my work.
I
