Buckley <br /> Councl'l Report <br /> Councilman McAllister reported that the grading plan has been <br /> submitted for Arden Oaks area; proposes grading the hill on park <br /> land back enough so there Is visibility around the corner, will <br /> abring the grading plan to the Parks Committee when It is <br /> available. <br /> Final development plan for Royal Hills has been approved with <br /> several contingencies ; settlement of park dedication, pending law <br /> suit, etc. <br /> Round Lake Park Site Acquisition <br /> The request by Parks Committee for park dedication by Motorola <br /> leaves a portion of land belonging to Motorola inaccessible; <br /> Committee was asked to look at the site again to see if this .re- <br /> quest should stand . Committee sees no reason to change original <br /> decision . <br /> Miscellaneous Business <br /> --Winter Program. Participation report on w Inter program Is <br /> attached . <br /> --Softball Leagues . Leagues began play week of May 3. There are <br /> ten additional teams this year. About 60% of the teams are <br /> industrial teams . <br /> --Summer Program. Buckley reports many talented lndividuafis have <br /> been Interviewed for the summed- program positions . Six have <br /> been selected to review hiring by the Council , will be rocom- <br /> mended to Council for summer employment. He anticipates more <br /> participants in the program this year; expects to recruit <br />
