community get a lot of good additional use when Arden Hills Park <br /> and Recreation programs are planned at the playgrounds . I have <br /> no doubt that it will be a successful and 'A necessary program <br /> for the community in the summers to come . <br /> CRAFTS <br /> Crafts went very well this summer. I think the reasons for <br /> their successfulness are : <br /> 1 . ) There , was a craft planned every day for tiny tots and <br /> afternoon children . <br /> 2 . ) Crafts were planned for the whole summer during staff <br /> orientation , which provided me with the necessary <br /> information to have all of the supplies ready in <br /> advance . It also gave me an opportunity for the children <br /> to look forward to their next days craft. <br /> 3 .) I had made a list of craft ideas that we had supplies <br /> for previous to the staff orientation . This provided the <br /> leaders with a wide variety of craft choices for the whole <br /> summer . <br /> 4 . ) I had experience from the previous two summers of working <br /> for Arden Hills , and could recommend which crafts the <br /> children liked, and which ones were successful . <br /> The most successful crafts that the children liked were modeling <br /> clay , plaster paris , and coppercraft .
