Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Review of 1988 Spring Program <br /> The proposed 1988 Spring Program adds a program "Baton Twirling"; a national <br /> champion twirler in the area has offered to teach this class; it will <br /> encompass, in addition to twirling, total body fitness and poise. An "Adaptive <br /> Recreation Club Program" is being planned with adjoining villages, using Mounds <br /> View facilities, with parents covering the cost of the program. Committee <br /> concurred to recommend the 1988 Spring Program to Council as submitted. <br /> 1988 Committee Goals <br /> Chair Sand listed as goals (1) Development of an updated Ter. Year Park <br /> Development Plan, (2) Development of a permanent funding mechanism for park <br /> improvement and development, (4) Revision and updating of the Parkway <br /> Feasibility Study. <br /> An updated parks and trails map should be prepared in 1988 as well. <br /> February Meeting Date <br /> Because precinct caucuses occur the fourth Tuesday of February, (regular <br /> meeting night), the February meeting will be held February 25 (Thursday) in the <br /> Public Works Building. <br /> Adjournment <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br /> Submitted by Shirley Marshall. <br /> • <br />
