Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br />As an alternate WS consideration for the City Council, the Applicant has submitted a modified <br />version with 1/3 of the Highway 96 West frontage converted to decorative metal fencing. The <br />alternate proposal includes: <br />• 6-foot tall decorative metal fencing with spikes along Paul Kirkwold Drive around the <br />pond and visible areas from Highway 96 West (approx. 1,170 lf) <br />• 6-foot tall chain link fence with three strand barbed wire along non-visible areas from <br />Highway 96 West frontage (approx. 740 lf) <br /> <br />Base + East 1/3 Hwy 96 Frontage <br /> <br /> Decorative Metal Fence with Spikes Chain Link Fence with Barbed Wire <br /> <br />The Applicant is also proposing two parking lot additions which would increase the impervious <br />surface area by approximately 0.6%. The southern five-stall parking lot addition with concrete <br />sidewalk to the building will be open to the public. The northern 18-stall parking lot addition will <br />be behind the proposed security gates and will be for facility employee use only. To construct the <br />parking lots, the Applicant will be removing two trees. Tree mitigation is not required because <br />the Applicant is removing less than 10% of the trees located on the property. <br />
