Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Little Johanna Lake and Pike Lake Stormwater BMP Retrofit Analysis – PSA <br />with HR Green <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $0 $16,600 Surface Water Mgmt Fund <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />•Professional Services Agreement with HR Green for the Little Johanna and Pike Lake <br />Stormwater BMP Retrofit Analysis in the amount not to exceed $16,600 <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br />Background/Discussion <br />At the August 15, 2022 Council Work Session, HR Green presented the Little Johanna Lake and <br />Pike Lake Stormwater BMP Retrofit Analysis. <br />The proposed stormwater study is to analyze the subwatersheds of Little Johanna Lake and Pike <br />Lake for potential targeted locations of specific water quality best management practices (BMP). <br />The analysis will serve to assist the City of Arden Hills in implementing targeted and prioritized <br />practices to help meet waste load allocations (WLA) for these lakes, which is a required by the <br />MS4 Permit. <br />The proposed scope of work will develop guidance to watershed management staff in
