Professional Services Agreement <br /> Arden Hills Local Stormwater Plan <br />220290 <br />5/12/2022 <br />Page 1 of 12 <br /> <br />Version2.3 02052021 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is between City of Arden Hills (hereafter “CLIENT”) and HR GREEN, INC. <br />(hereafter "COMPANY"). <br /> <br />1.0 Project Understanding <br />General Understanding <br />CLIENT seeks to develop a Local Stormwater Plan identifying drainage patterns within the <br />City, locations with current drainage issues, and suggested design alternatives and cost <br />estimates to address those issues. A major goal of this plan is to identify and prioritize <br />improvements to stormwater infrastructure while considering areas of need for <br />environmental justice and future storm events with greater intensity and frequency. This <br />plan will allow CLIENT to budget and plan for upcoming projects while increasing their <br />resiliency to the predicted changing weather. This plan will also open future funding <br />opportunities with local agencies such as Rice Creek Watershed District and the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). <br /> <br />Design Criteria/Assumptions <br />Tasks 2 through 4 will occur if CLIENT is awarded an MPCA Resiliency Grant applied for <br />in Task 1. <br /> <br />CLIENT will provide COMPANY all existing plans, infrastructure data, construction plans, <br />studies, and hydrologic & hydraulic (H&H) models relevant to the CLIENT’s Stormwater <br />Plan objectives. <br /> <br /> <br />2.0 Scope of Services <br />The CLIENT agrees to employ COMPANY to perform the following services: <br /> <br /> <br />Task 1 – MPCA Grant Application <br /> <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Resiliency Grant Application <br />In coordination with the CLIENT, COMPANY will complete the grant application form and <br />submit it to the MPCA. <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br />· Should the grant be awarded, it is assumed CLIENT will prepare invoices to the <br />MPCA. <br />Deliverables: <br />· Completed MPCA Resiliency Grant Application <br /> <br />Task 2 – Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement <br /> <br />The COMPANY’s Project Manager will maintain regular contact with the CLIENT’s Project <br />Manager as part of this task, including monthly invoicing and coordination related to data
