Amendment 1 to Professional Services Agreement Arden Manor and Floral Parks Playground Equipment Replacement and Reconstruction Design and Construction Administration Services 211646 Page 2 of 4 H RG reen SCOPE OF SERVICES Arden Manor and Floral Parks Playground Equipment Replacement and Reconstruction Design and Construction Administration Services Arden Hills, Minnesota Amendment #1 (Floral Park Additional Improvements) The scope of services for this amendment represents the City of Arden Hills' (City) request to HR Green, Inc. (Consultant) to provide additional services for the project. The services performed by the Consultant will be in accordance with generally accepted standards of practice. Additional Services The work tasks include: Task 8 — Floral Park Additional Improvements The City has requested that the Consultant provide services for additional improvements to Floral Park beyond the sport court improvements to which the original lump sum fee estimate was limited. Additional improvements include trail reconstruction around the main park site and a new trail connection between the main park site and the sport courts, playground replacement, park shelter improvements, adding maintenance gates to the tennis court fences, dead and diseased tree removal, ADA accessible ramp design, community garden water source improvements, a possible water system connection, and various other improvements. The exact nature of the improvements is dependent on public input, and for the purposes of this amendment, the tasks and fee estimate are at a general level. Task 8.1 — Geotechnical Services a. Geotechnical Evaluation — Consultant will perform a geotechnical evaluation to characterize surface and subsurface geologic conditions at selected exploration locations, evaluate their impact on the project, and provide geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of the proposed additional park improvements. Task 8.2 — Survey Services a. Topographic Survey — Consultant will complete a topographic survey of the additional park improvement sites including playground and trail infrastructure. Elevations will be referenced to local benchmarks. These services will be coordinated with the City and the adjacent property managers. b. Boundary and Topographic Drawing — Final drafting to be completed with existing visible improvements on subject property in the area of the additional improvements shown. The drawing will be completed and will be used as the base map for the project. Because the final drawing will be incorporated into the engineering plans, a Topographic Survey Plat is not included within this proposal. Task 8.3 — Public Involvement a. Consultant will prepare signage and web based tools for the public to use to provide input on the park amenities for the additional improvements. b. Consultant will collect interactive feedback and develop ideas and options for the additional improvements. Version1.0 07012017
