Amendment 1 to Professional Services Agreement <br />Arden Manor and Floral Parks Playground Equipment Replacement and Reconstruction Design and <br />Construction Administration Services <br />211646 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />H RG reen <br />Task 8.4 — Conceptual Park Design & Layout <br />a. Consultant will prepare a conceptual park plan for the additional improvements based on the existing <br />conditions and community involvement input. <br />b. Consultant will provide a general review of the estimated costs included in the City CIP cost estimate <br />and update it based on the selected features and improvements determined by the public involvement <br />process, conceptual design, and recent bid summary information for the additional improvements. <br />Consultant will provide an Engineer's Opinion of Construction Costs (EOPCC) to the City for the <br />additional improvements. <br />c. Consultant will coordinate with utilities and regulatory agencies during the concept layout to ensure <br />compliance throughout the process. <br />Task 8.5 — Construction Documents <br />a. This phase provides services to complete design and construction details for the additional improvements <br />within the park as listed above. <br />b. Construction documents will consist of construction drawings and specifications for the additional <br />improvements in the bid documents. <br />c. Based on the previously completed Conceptual Design, Consultant will prepare these documents for the <br />additional improvements: <br />i. Title Sheet with Sheet Index, Location Map, and Project Contact Information. <br />ii. General Notes Sheet with Site/Civil Notes, Erosion Control Requirements, and Landscaping <br />General Notes as necessary to provide instruction to the contractor. <br />iii. Existing Conditions Plan indicating existing topography, sidewalks, shelter, pavement edges, <br />trees, drainage structures other available site infrastructure and removal information. <br />iv. Layout and Dimensioning Plan that will indicate layout geometrics for all of the site improvements <br />listed above. <br />v. Grading and Drainage Plan with both existing and proposed contours, spot grade elevations as <br />necessary, erosion control measures and any necessary drainage improvements. All facilities <br />within the public park will be designed to be ADA accessible. <br />vi. Construction Detail Sheets. These sheets will provide all of the necessary construction details to <br />construct the improvements listed above. <br />vii. Landscape Plan. Sheet will indicate any tree or shrub planting/removal locations and species <br />callouts including plant schedule. <br />d. Refined EOPCC for the additional improvements will be prepared for the project once these documents <br />are complete and prior to bidding the job. <br />Task 8.6 — Construction Administration <br />a. Construction Observation — For the additional improvements, Consultant will provide up to 60 hours of <br />on -site construction observation, prepare observation logs, review and approve pay applications, report <br />on contractor wages review, respond to requests for information, and prepare change orders. <br />Consultant will keep notes and take pictures when onsite during construction to be provided to the City. <br />Version1.0 07012017 <br />
