Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Professional Services Agreement Amendment for the Mounds View High School <br />Trail project — Right -of -Way acquisition <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A $251,545.50 PIR Fund, Ramsey County <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Amendment for Professional Services for Right -of -Way acquisition and temporary <br />easements for the Mounds View High School Trail Improvements with SRF <br />Consulting Group, Inc. in the amount of $38,422 <br />• Estimated ROW Costs for the Mounds View High School Trail Improvements in the <br />amount of $12,160 with the understanding that this amount may fluctuate. <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br />B ack2round/Discussion <br />On February 8, 2021, the City approved a professional services agreement with SRF Consulting <br />Group, Inc. (SRF) to design "shovel -ready" plans for the proposed trail along Lake Valentine <br />Road and Old Snelling Avenue that connects the existing trail at County Rd E2 to the Mounds <br />View High School. On September 26, 2022, Council approved an amendment with SRF to <br />proceed with Final Design and Construction Services. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
