Cummings Park asphalt trail maintenance (map below) will include spot replacement/ paving as needed. <br />This will be in conjunction with the 2023 PW Paving Project. Sections of trail will be evaluated for spot <br />replacement or reclaim and repaved. Removal of dead/ diseased trees and trees that either need to be <br />trimmed or removed as preventative maintenance will be completed prior to the trail project. <br />Restoration of green space disturbed by the project will take place after the paving is complete. Park <br />benches within the work area will be assessed for repair or replacement needs as part of this project. <br />Trail/ Park tree trimming and diseased tree removal efforts are being focused at Floral and Cummings <br />Parks. This work is planned for fall/ winter. <br />Add Woodchips to “Natural” Trails. Volunteer or ICWC potential projects at- <br />x Crepau Nature Preserve <br />x Floral Woodland Trail <br />Tree Inventory Update will be completed in 2023 at Floral, Cummings, and Arden Manor Parks. During <br />the inventory, staff will also assess for disease and overall tree condition. The information will be stored <br />on our GIS database.
