<br />Hydrant road salt protection (red plastic bags) are generally installed in late fall and removed early <br />spring along County roads and higher volume city streets where more road salt is used for deicing during <br />the winter months. <br />Hydrant Vegetation trimming is completed generally along government areas that no not receive any <br />mowing and easements. This is completed on a as needed basis to aid in fire department use and as a <br />general maintenance practice. Hydrants on private property are the responsibility of the home owners. <br />Hydrant Snow Removal (along city property). Staff will assess and develop a map for implementation in <br />2024.
