Project Description <br /> <br />This Geotechnical Evaluation Report addresses the proposed design and construction of the proposed <br />pedestrian trail to be located along Old Highway 10 between County Road 96 and Lake Valentine Road in <br />Arden Hills, Minnesota. The project will include the construction of a new pedestrian trail and possible <br />stormwater features. We assume the trail will be bituminous paved, with the finish grade of the trail <br />closely matching the existing topography. <br /> <br />Figure 1 below shows an illustration of the proposed trail alignment. <br /> <br />Figure 1. Site Conditions <br /> <br />The existing Old Highway 10 corridor consists of a bituminous-paved roadway with gravel shoulders and <br />ditches on either side of the roadway embankment. Portions of the roadway contain bituminous or <br />concrete curb and gutter with storm sewer. The surrounding areas are primarily residential and consist of <br />single-family or multi-family dwellings. <br /> <br />34
