Purpose <br /> <br />The purpose of our geotechnical evaluation is to characterize subsurface geologic conditions at selected <br />exploration locations, evaluate their impact on the project, and provide geotechnical recommendations <br />for the design and construction of the proposed pedestrian trail. <br /> <br />A.4. Background Information and Reference Documents <br /> <br />We reviewed the following information: <br /> <br />ƒ Preliminary Engineering Report for Old Snelling Avenue/Old Highway 10 prepared by <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. (BMI) under project number T16.100325 and dated December 3, 2008. <br /> <br />ƒ Map M178, Surficial Geology of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area, prepared by the <br />Minnesota Geological Survey and dated 2007. <br /> <br />ƒ Communications with John Morast at HR Green, Inc. regarding the project. <br /> <br />We have described our understanding of the proposed construction and site to the extent others <br />reported it to us. Depending on the extent of available information, we may have made assumptions <br />based on our experience with similar projects. If we have not correctly recorded or interpreted the <br />project details, the project team should notify us. New or changed information could require additional <br />evaluation, analyses and/or recommendations. <br /> <br />A.5. Scope of Services <br /> <br />We performed our scope of services for the project in accordance with our Proposal QTB151497 to <br />HR Green, Inc., dated February 17, 2022, and authorized on May 16, 2022.
