CITY OF SHOREVIEW <br />ORDINANCE NO.1016 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 308, HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION <br />The Shoreview City Council ordains that Section 308 of the Shoreview Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows (New language is underlined and highlighted <br />red; strieken text is prepesed fer eleletien): <br />308 Human Rights Commission <br />308.020 Establishment and Composition. There is hereby reestablished a Human <br />Rights Commission of the City of Shoreview. The Commission shall be <br />composed of nine (9) to eleven (11� members and shall be <br />advisory to the City Council. The City Council may, at its own discretion, <br />appoint two U to three (3) youth representatives with full voting_ privileges. <br />Youth representatives must be -a high school sophomores, juniors, or <br />seniors and attend two regular meetings before being appointed. Youth <br />representatives may be non-residents from a school district servicing <br />Shoreview. , shall be Fesidents <br />Members shall be appointed by the City Council. <br />Adoption Date: Passed by the city council of the City of Shoreview on the 17th day of <br />April, 2023. <br />Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective the day following its <br />publication in the city's official newspaper. <br />Publication Date: Published on the 2Sth day of April, 2023. <br />Sue Denkinger, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Brad Martens, City Manager <br />SEAL <br />3 <br />
