STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY , VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS RESOLUTION NO. 71-25 RESOLUTIONRE ARDEN HILLS-NEW BRIGHTON ANNEXATION-DETACHMENT: RELIEVING ANNEXED AREA OF BONDED INDEBTEDNESS, AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF ASSESSMENTS ON ANNEXED PORTION, AND CORRECTING A . DESCRIPTION WHEREAS, the Council of Arden Hills, by Resolution dated November 30, 1970, petitioned the Minnesota Municipal Commission, in accordance with law, for the detachment of certain property in Arden Hills and the annexation of certain property in New Brighton, said parcels being described in detail in said Resolution, with abbreviated descriptions being as follows: Area to be detached: All that part of the SW1/4, Section 16, T 30, R 23, lying westerly of the center- line of 35W; All that part of the NW 1/4 Section 21, T 30, R 23, lying Westerly of the centerline of T.H. 35W Area to be annexed: All that part of the South 1/2 of Section 21, T 30, R 23, lying Easterly of the centerline of T.H. 35W, not already within the corporate limits of Arden Hills, and WHEREAS, by orders of the Minnesota Municipal commission dated March 23, 1971, the petition of Arden Hills for detachment and annexation in accordance with the foregoing was approved and the concurrent petition of the Village of New Brighton for annexation of the above detachment property was also approved, and WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of the Arden Hills Council that the aforesaid property detached from the Village of Arden Hills and now annexed to the village of New Brighton be relieved of any share of the bonded indebtedness of the Village of Arden Hills which it might otherwise bear, to the end that it could be subjected to its proportionate share of the bonded indebtedness in the Village of New Brighton, -1-
