along the walking trail from County Rd E to Stowe Ave. A map of the existing and proposed <br />forcemain layout is provided in Attachment A. <br />Public Works staff have tested the existing pumps and check valves and determined they are near <br />the end of useful life and recommends replacing them with this project. <br />Discussion <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. has provided staff with a proposal for professional services to administer <br />the project through design and plan production, along with construction administration in the <br />amount not -to -exceed of $121,084. City staff worked with Bolton & Menk to determine the <br />required scope of work and reviewed the proposed labor associated with the project. City staff <br />recommends approving the PSA with Bolton & Menk. <br />Budget Impact <br />The proposed project is budgeted for a total cost of $550,000 which includes engineering and <br />construction administration services. Those costs will be covered by the sanitary sewer utility <br />fund. <br />The City is in the process to pursue external funding through the next MN bonding bill.
